After consulting with leaders from each of the three Covenant churches, we have decided NOT to have a meal prior to the Wednesday Lenten Worship service scheduled for Wednesday, March 18 at 7 pm at Ascension Lutheran.
The service is still on, but do not come if you have concerns for your own health. Several families have contacted me to say that because of health concerns, you will be isolating yourselves until the danger of the Corona Virus passes. This the right thing to do. You cannot show love to your neighbor if you have not taken care of yourself.
The special Covenant Council meeting scheduled to be at Ascension at 6pm on Wednesday will still go on.
The WELCA spring gathering that was scheduled to be at Ascension this Saturday morning (March 21) has been postponed to a later date to be determined.
